Vicki A. Capp, age 69 of Mapleton, Kansas passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the Olathe Hospice House.  She was born the daughter of Frank E. and Claudeane (Shaw) Craig on August 8, 1954 at Fort Lewis, Washington.  Vicki married Earl Capp on January 25, 1980 at the Wyandotte County Courthouse in Kansas City, Kansas.  She enjoyed playing cornhole, crafting, canning, cooking and baking, but she absolutely loved being around campfires, being a grandma first and doing for others before herself.  Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Shawn Michael Bartimus.  She is survived by her husband Earl of the home, son Robert Capp and wife, Jacqueline, two sisters, Connie Jo Wright and husband, Hank and Karen Bales and husband, Larry, six grandchildren, Kyrsten Collins and husband, James, Kelton, Kylin, Jazmin, Aurora and Anastasia and three great grand children, Alailah, Raelynne and Ryder.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.  The family suggests contributions to The American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the funeral home to P.O.
