Carl Stephen Schneider, age 77 of Mound City, Kansas passed away in Fort Scott, Kansas on September 6, 2024. Carl was born the son of Charles Lee and Hazel Josephine (Nelson) Schneider on September 26, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri. He married Lynn Graham on August 25, 1973 in Kansas City, Missouri, to this union two children were born.
Carl was an industrial distributor salesman through his working years. He and his dad started a muzzleloading club that is still in existence today. Carl loved older muscle cars, formula 1 racing, watching westerns and British television, he was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks fan. He was also a big chocolate fan, but most of all, he loved his family and grandkids unconditionally.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Lynn, a son, Eric Schneider and wife, Robbie, a daughter, Stacy Schneider, three grandchildren, Samantha Wilson, Nicole Schneider and Aidan Schneider and his life long best friend, Bob Stewart and the rest of the Stewart family.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to service time.
