Thomas Eugene Schasteen, age 86, formerly of Mound City, Kansas passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021.  He was born on November 11, 1934 in Mound City the son of Abraham Lincoln and Beulah Hewitt Schasteen.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army serving in both Korea and Vietnam before retiring from the Army.  He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Kim, five brothers, Abraham Lincoln Schasteen, Jr., Henry Schasteen, Pete Schasteen, Jim Schasteen and Arthur Schasteen, and three sisters, Annie Patrick, Polly Schasteen,  and Josephine Carmack.  Tom is survived by his wife, Miyang Schasteen, son, Thomas Eugene Schasteen, Jr.,  and two grandchildren.
