Russell Pippin, age 88, Mound City, Kansas passed away on Monday April 26, 2021.  He was born in Hammond, Missouri on November 24, 1932 the son of Laborn and Elizabeth Barnett Pippin.  He was united in marriage to Ethel Miller on November 22, 1958.  

He was employed as an automotive mechanic.  Russell was a member of the Mound City First Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marceline and Inis.  Russell is survived by his wife, Ethel, two daughters, Wanda Martin (Hy) and Phyllis Gillispie, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  

Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.  Burial will be in the Osawatomie Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to service time at the Mound City Chapel.  Contributions are suggested to Olive’s Hope, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O.
