Rose Blanche Miller

Rose Blanche Miller, age 83, of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away at her home on Friday, December 23, 2022.  She was born on January 12, 1939, in Centerville, Kansas the daughter of Owen and Elizabeth McMenamy Mundell. She graduated from Pleasanton High School. Rose was united in marriage to Jimmie Lee Miller Sr on November 15, 1958. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2010.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Jimmie, two sons, Dale and Billy Miller, a brother, Ira Mundell, and a longtime friend and companion, Ed Fleming.  

Rose worked at Bass Buster, volunteered for meals on wheels and was a care giver for many people in the Pleasanton Community. She was a Christian woman and enjoyed attending church. She loved her family tremendously, especially her grandchildren. Rose is survived by a daughter, Rosa Lee Miller (Trent Fritts), four sons, Clay Miller (Marjie), Curtis Miller, Edward Miller, and Jimmie Miller II (Amanda), sixteen grandchildren, and numerous great and great grandchildren.  

Funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Burial in the Pleasanton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 am to service time.  Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Pleasanton Sr. Center, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box 525, Pleasanton, Kansas 66075.
