Ricky Albert Sweat, age 67, La Cygne, Kansas passed away Monday, July 18, 2022.  He was born on June 4, 1955 in Highland, Kansas the son of Bracey and Delores Peters Sweat.  He worked driving a concrete truck.  He was united in marriage to Jacaline Lammert.  Ricky enjoyed fishing, cutting wood, gardening, mowing yards, country cruising, drinking beer and hanging out with family and his dog, Fiona.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Bracey, a brother, Bruce, and two sisters, Freda and Catherine.  Ricky is survived by his wife, Jackie, mother, Delores Wisdom, two sons, James and Michael Sweat, three brothers, Billy, Jack, and Randy Sweat, and three sisters, Dorothy Sweat, Cindy Sweat Hobbs, and Becky Darnell.  

A short Memorial Service will be held 5 pm Friday, July 29, 2022 at the family home in La Cygne.  A celebration of Ricky’s Life will follow.  Please feel free to bring a covered dish as friends and family share memories of Ricky.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ricky Sweat Memorial Fund.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
