Randall James “Randy” Rogers, age 72, La Cygne, Kansas passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023. He was born on September 10, 1950, in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Jesse and Katherine Manczuk Rogers. Randy was united in marriage to Laura Kutchko on March 26, 1971. He worked at Owens-Corning maintaining equipment for several years. He then owned and operated a forklift repair business. Most of Randy’s working career was spent making quality wood furniture. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed flying radio-controlled airplanes, and riding a motorcycle with his bride, Laura.
He also had a passion for fast cars. His pride and joy was a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dennis Rogers, and a sister, Sharon Gunya. Randy is survived by his wife, Laura, a son Jimmy Rogers and wife Kim, a daughter, Niccole Beagley and husband Clint, three brothers, David, Robert, and Wayne Rogers, two sisters, Bonita Clair and Kathleen Onasch, three grandchildren, Kylie Wright and husband Blake and their two children, Taxton and Tilton, Bubba Rogers, and Lauren Moore.
Funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Randy will lie in state from 12 noon to 5 pm Monday, January 23 at the La Cygne Chapel. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Regina’s Pet Rescue, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O.
