Mitzi Jo Allen Coe, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 72, with her family by her side. Mitzi was born on August 14, 1953, in Paola, Kansas. Family meant everything to her.
She was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, good sense of humor, and quiet strength. Mitzi had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, and she left her mark on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick Coe; her children, Dana Kral (Jesse), Jenny Heide (Brad), Lindsey Clearwater (Brooke), and Derek Coe; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Vaughn Allen (Nancy), Cheri Dunlop (Chuck), sister-
in-law Brenda Allen; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by parents, Ward and Jean Allen, and brothers, Bill and Jim Allen.

Mitzi will be missed more than words can say and remembered with love always. The funeral service will be held 12 noon Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at the La Cygne United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Jingo Cemetery. A visitation will be
held from 5 to 7 pm Monday, January 26, followed by the praying of the Rosary at 7 pm at the Schneider Funeral Home, La Cygne Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of your choice. Online condolences can be left at
