Lois Ann Simons, age 87, Mound City, Kansas passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025.  She was born on November 12,1937 at Pleasanton, Kansas the daughter of Oliver and Elva Jackson Jennings.  After graduating high school Lois attended nursing school.  Lois was united in marriage to Jerald Simons on October 21, 1956.  He preceded her in death on November 28, 2009.  She volunteered at Concern and Good Buys, enjoyed reading, and attending ball games.  She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Megan and Brant, and two brothers, Jack and Gary Jennings.  Lois is survived by four children, Sharon Kennedy Beckman(Rande), Jimmy Dale Simons(Linda), David Simons, and Marc Simons(Cinda), two sister in laws, Geneva Jennings and Pat Jennings, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.  

Graveside funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Curry Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to departing for the cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Concern Inc.  Online condolences can be left
