John Wiliam “Bill” Jones, age 76 of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away at his home on June 10, 2023.  Bill was born on September 5, 1946 the son of Clara Harmon in Kansas City, Missouri and later adopted by Elvin Jones.  He was an over the road truck driver over the years and married Terry Davis on July 2, 1983 in Carson City, Nevada. 

Bill enjoyed watching the History channel and fiddling with his guitar.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Lee Jones.  Bill is survived by his wife, Terry of the home, a daughter, Theresa Knott of Minnesota, a step-son, Johnny Driver (Angela) of Florida, two sisters, Hazel Spano of Bordentown, New Jersey and Barbara Ropey of Camdenton, Missouri, seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held at 12 pm, Saturday, June 17th at the Pleasanton Housing Authority.  Memorials are suggested to Bill Jones Memorial (to defray funeral costs) and may be sent to Schneider Funeral Home P.O.
