Jean Driskell, age 82, formerly of La Cygne, Kansas passed away Friday, July 18, 2025. She was born on March 22, 1943 in Paola, Kansas the daughter of George and Florence Hougland Royer. She graduated from La Cygne Rural High School. Jean was united in marriage to Gary Driskell on June 19, 1965. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2012. She was a member of the La Cygne United Methodist Church and PEO. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, sewing and had a talent for interior decorating. She was also preceded in death by infant twins, and two sisters, Ruth Funk, and Marjorie Stainbrook. Jean is survived by two sons, Matthew Driskell and wife Susan, and Mark Driskell and wife Lori, a sister, Linda Marcum and husband Jim, and three grandchildren, Morgan, Blake, and Cade.

Memorial service will be held 7 pm Thursday, July 24, 2025 at the Schneider Funeral Home, La Cygne Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm prior to service.
