March 14, 1955 — June 16, 2026
Janice Geyer, 71, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away on June 16, 2026. She was born on March 14, 1955, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Donald and Carol Cline. Janice graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and later attended classes at Johnson County Community College. As a young woman, Janice worked several part-time jobs but devoted most of her time to raising her family as a stay-at-home mother while her children were young. In the 2000s, she worked as a graphic designer for Chariton Vet Supply, where she created the company’s mail-order catalogs, advertisements, sale bills, and numerous other marketing materials. Janice had a lifelong love of horses, especially her cherished Arabian horse, Lazan Asha. On February 12, 1983, she was united in marriage to Eddie Geyer. Together they shared many happy years, enjoying camping and spending time with their grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Carol Cline; her husband, Eddie Geyer; and two siblings, Don Cline and Mary Cline. Janice is survived by her brother, Wesley (Linda) Cline; and her five children; seventeen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Centerville Cemetery in Centerville, Kansas.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Centerville Kansas Cemetery. Centerville always held a special place in Janice’s heart, as she spent much of her childhood there with her grandmother, Mary Iva Cline.
