Glover Lowe

Glover Lowe, age 81, of Linn Valley, Kansas passed away in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on September 12, 2020.  Glover was born the son of Earl Lynn and Mary Frances Little Lowe on November 2, 1938 at Shelby County, Missouri. 

He married Millie Dowell on December 5, 1959 in Kansas City, Missouri, they enjoyed 60 amazing years together before his passing.  Glover spent thirty-one years working and then retiring from General Motors in Kansas City, Kansas.  He never met a stranger, he loved to draw, go fishing and in his retirement years enjoyed drinking coffee with his buddies and traveling with friends. 

Glover is survived by his wife Millie, four sons, Jim Lowe and wife Debbie, Timothy Lowe and wife Belinda, Larry Lowe, Ricky Lee Lowe and wife Stacey, Jodie Sprague-Lowe, two brothers, Alfred Lowe and wife Connie and Julius Lowe and wife Betty, two sisters Mary Evelyn Martin and husband Junior, Ruth Lowe, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 22 at Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel in La Cygne, Kansas.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time.  Burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery will follow immediately after the service.  The family suggests contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, they may be sent in care of Schneider Funeral Home  P.O.
