Enoch Edward Joles, age 76, Mound City, Kansas passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Olathe Hospice House. He was born in Benton, Arkansas on March 24, 1943 the son of Affie and Annie Reynolds Joles. He was married to LaDonna “Susie” Stanley on December 8, 1993.
He was a race horse trainer earlier in his life, but, worked most of his career as a self employed painter. Enoch was ornery in a good sort of way. He had a passion for restoring old cars and trucks and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert Joles, and three sisters, Olabell McDaniel, Colene Cowden, and Wanda Shadden. Enoch is survived by his wife, Susie, two sons, Glenn Joles and wife Roberta, Wesley McGriff and wife Pam; two daughters, Deborah Masters and husband Billy and Betty Mitchell and husband Fred, two sisters, Fanchion Shadden and husband Bill, and Linda Owens; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 10 am to service time at First Baptist Church.
