Carl Wayne Bowman, age 76, Mound City, Kansas passed away on Monday November 1, 2021.  He was born in Goodrich, Kansas on June 29, 1945, the son of  Roy and Eva Shafer Bowman. He served his country in the United States Army.  He was united in marriage to Alma Dalion on March 27, 1999.  Carl worked for General Motors for over thirty years before retiring.  

He attended Mound City First Baptist Church, was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and enjoyed fishing.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Floyd Bowman.  Carl is survived by his wife, Alma, three sons, Isaac Bowman, Carl Bowman, Jr., and Ray Bowman, two brothers, Everett Bowman and Keith Bowman, a sister, Aldana Turner, and a grandchild, Paige.

Funeral service will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Mound City First Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the Centerville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 pm Friday, November 5 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.  Contributions are suggested to the Mound City First Baptist Church.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
