Brenda Carol Meyer, age 62, Mound City, Kansas passed away on March 5, 2020 at her home. She was born on July 28, 1957 in Iola, Kansas the daughter of Virgil Keith and Wilma Carol Gillmore Murrow. She was married to Sam Meyer on June 14, 1974.
Brenda was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, scrap booking, building fairy gardens with her grandchildren and Dr Pepper. Her favorite saying was ” Can’t can’t do anything”. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kirby Murrow. Brenda is survived by her husband, Sam, three sons, Calvin Meyer and Aggie, Jesse Meyer and Kate, and Mike Meyer and Joanna, three brothers, Kelly, Mike and Eugene Murrow, a sister, Debbie Wolken, and six grandchildren, Lillian, Abbigail, Casey, Gabriel, Theryn, and Kyndal. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted wife.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, March 9, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mound City, Kansas. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 pm Sunday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.
