Clarence William “Bill” Craven, age 79, La Cygne, Kansas passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born in La Cygne, Kansas on June 26, 1945. He was employed by the City of La Cygne in charge of the trash compactor and the dog pound. After retiring from the City of La Cygne he cut and sold wood and mowed yards. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Wilma Cowley.  He is survived by a brother Orville Schulenberg, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  

Funeral service will be 11 am Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Burial will be in the Jingo Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 am to service time at the La Cygne Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
