Terri Lynn Thies, age 65, La Cygne, Kansas passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024.  She was born on August 27, 1958 in Paola, Kansas the daughter Phil and Carol McDaniel Williams.  She worked as an account manager in the health insurance industry.  Terri was united in marriage to Daniel Thies in 1985.  He preceded her in death on April 10, 2018.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Williams and a sister Lisa Williams-Martin.  Terri was a huge Chiefs fan.  She liked camping and the lake life.  She was always up to going to the casino to play the slot machines.  Terri is survived by a son, Jimmy Thies and wife Jill, a brother, Donald Williams, two grandchildren, Zachariah Thies and Madison Thies, and her dog, Toby.  

Graveside service will be 11 am Monday, June 17, 2024 at Queen of the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Wea, Kansas.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan Komen Foundation.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
