Wilma Virginia Cook, age 89, Stover, Missouri, formerly of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away Friday, May 24, 2024.  She was born on March 24, 1935 in Lockport, Louisiana the daughter of Edgar and Dorena Matherne Guidry.  She owned her own trucking company before retirement.  She was united in marriage to Randy Goens.  He preceded her in death on September 18, 2001.  She later married Charles Cook on June 29, 2003.  Wilma was a member of the Wall St Christian Church.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening and fishing.  She liked to going dancing.  She was also  preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Gregory and Edward Chiasson, a brother, Emile Guidry, and three sisters, Ada Aucoin, Rosemae Matherne, and Ozema Comeaux.  Wilma is survived by her husband, Charles Cook, and a grandson, Gregory Chiasson Jr.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.  Burial will be in the Rockport Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1 pm to service time Wednesday at the Mound City Chapel.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Golden Age Living Center.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
