Gary Gene Davis age 71, of Fort Scott, Kansas passed away in Nevada, Missouri on May 10, 2024.  Gary was born on March 14, 1953 the son of Val Gene and Patricia Ann (Edgar) Davis at Fort Scott, Kansas.  He married Linda Sutterby on October 9, 1982 at Miami, Oklahoma, she preceded him in death on August 13, 2021.  Gary was a publication salesman and enjoyed spending time with family and his kids.  He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.  He is survived by two sons, Wes Charles Davis (Rachel) and Cal Gene Davis (Lindsey), three sisters, Connie Peterson (Dallas), Linda DeMott (Gary) and Carol Graham (John), and two grandchildren, Nate and Lane Davis.

A visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm, on Monday, May 20, 2024 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the Mapleton Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
