Hazel Kay Wilkerson, age 81, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born on September 13, 1941 in Pleasanton, Kansas the daughter of Oral Austin and Iva Hazel (Day) Carpenter. She graduated from Pleasanton High School. Kay was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, William Wilkerson, on August 8, 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Harley Carpenter.

Kay is survived by her husband, Bill, two daughters, Elaine O’Dell and husband Mickey, and Stacy Wilkerson Case, a son Austin Case, three grandchildren, Derek O’Dell and wife Nancy, and their children, Vincent and Miguel, Jay O’Dell, and Dylan O’Dell.

Funeral Service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, April  11, 2023 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
