Ian Craig Ginther

Ian Craig Ginther, age 36, Blue Mound, Kansas passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022.  He was born March 1, 1986 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Fred Ginther and Kimberly McGee.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Janice Ginther, and maternal grandfather, Charles McGee. 

Ian is survived by his mother, Kimberly Grigsby(Art), father, Fred Ginther(Miriam), four brothers, Alek Ginther, Rian Young, Reace Young and his son, Bryson, and Quentin Ginther, paternal grandfather, Garland Ginther, maternal grandmother, Carolyn McGee, uncle, Clarence(Debbie) McGee, and cousins, Abby Bruce and boyfriend Royce Hyer and their children, Georgia and Rory, and Ethan Clay, and his dog, Ruka.

Ian had many self taught talents.  He loved to cook, make jewelry, draw, garden and play guitar and other instruments by ear.  Ian was a sharp individual, obtaining his GED without any study.  He enjoyed spending time at Stone Tree Coffee and Pottery making music.  

Visitation will be held from 5 to 6 pm Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.  Celebration of Life will be held at 6pm after the visitation.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
