William A. “Bill” Ballou

William A. “Bill” Ballou, 80, of Hume, Missouri died at Medicalodge Butler, Butler, Missouri on Monday, January 31, 2022.  Bill was born to Walter and Juanita Maxine Ballou on August 21, 1941 at Fort Scott, Kansas the oldest of 5 children.  He graduated from Uniontown High School, Uniontown, Kansas.  Bill was an aircraft painter, working for many years for Cessna and Boeing in Wichita, Kansas.

On November 26, 1988, Bill married Judith A. (Randolph) Scheppers.  

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.  He is survived by his wife Judy; one son, Stephen (Tina) Scheppers; two daughters, Lisa (Scheppers) Taker and Jenny (Scheppers) Reynolds; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

According to Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.  The family suggests contributions to Alzheimer’s Association or Heartland Hospice in care of Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 525, Pleasanton, Kansas 66075.  Friends and family may leave on line condolences at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
