Joyce Elaine Wilkins

Joyce Elaine Wilkins, age 72, a resident of Bronson, Kansas, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at the Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born October 3, 1948, in Ft. Scott, Kansas, the daughter of William Faulhaber and Martha Babbit Faulhaber. 

She married David Wilkins in January of 1970, at Topeka. She was a member of the Bronson Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Bronson Ruritan Club and had served as treasurer. She enjoyed doing cross-stitch. 

Survivors include her husband, David, of the home; and two children, Brenda Proehl (Shawn), of Rogers, Arkansas and Mark Wilkins (Michelle), of Lansing, Kansas; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother, Martha Faulhaber, of Ft. Scott and a brother, David Faulhaber, of Mapleton, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Janice Lutz. 

There was cremation. A memorial service with burial in the U. S. National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Hospital and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box347, Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
