Marjorie Ellen Dingus, age 91, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020. She was born in Fontana, Kansas on November 14, 1929, the daughter of Lawson and Ethel Vanderpeet Palmer. She was united in marriage to Marvin Dingus on November 15, 1956.
He preceded her in death on January 22, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Alice, Jennie, Nora, and Anna Louise. Marjorie attended the First Baptist Church. She worked as a volunteer at Pleasanton Meals on Wheels, enjoyed flower gardening.
She enjoyed a good thrill, as evidenced by her trip to World’s of Fun at the age of eighty. She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Miller (Clay), a sister, Charlene Genke, and two grandchildren, Michael Miller (Cassandra) and Misty Pulley.
Graveside service will be conducted by Oliver Hawk at 2 pm Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the Battlefield Cemetery.
