Larry Dean Slape, age 73 of Mound City, Kansas passed away at his home on September 5, 2020.  Larry was born the son of Clarence and Katherine Alice Burton Slape on November 5, 1946 in Harrison, Arkansas.  He married Mary C. Schroeder on May 2, 1968 at Kansas City, Missouri, to this union three children were born.  

Larry was a handyman and tinkerer throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing and watching westerns.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Clarence Dean Slape, a daughter, Mary Ann Ballard.  Larry is survived by his wife, a daughter, Billie Jo Mann and husband, Willie, two sisters Linda Goza and husband, Bob, Theresa Logan, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
