Johnny Jeanette (Hines) Jolliff, age 51, resident of Ft. Scott, KS, died Friday, July 17, 2020, at her home. She was born April 29, 1969, in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Kenneth and Oleta Smith Hines. She worked as a truck driver, worked for Tri-Valley Developmental Services, and also worked as a care giver for over 35 years. She loved spending time with her adopted family fishing, geocaching, and sightseeing in the car. She was always up for a new adventure. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include 4 sisters, Connie Willis, Ft. Scott, Rebecca Haga, Waldron, AR, Lillian Lewis, Arma, KS, and Peggy Hull, Ft. Scott; her mother, Oleta Smith, Ft. Scott; her grandmother, Lillian Smith, Kansas City, KS; best friend of 30 years, Forestine “Babe” Goodbody; special buddy K. W. Goodbody; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Hines; a sister, Nancy Jo Stewart; and her grandfather, John T. Smith.
Rev. James Collins will conduct funeral services at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 22, at the First Southern Baptist Church, Ft. Scott. Burial will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Johnny Jolliff Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main, Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
