Michael Leon “Mickey” Morris, age 66, Mound City, Kansas passed away on Sunday March 15, 2020.  He was born on December 2, 1953 in Mountain Home, Idaho the son of John William and Ruth Joan Boots Morris.  He graduated from Jayhawk Linn High School and Johnson County Community College. 

He worked as a carpenter.  Mickey was a member of the Mound City United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, smoking meat and mushroom hunting.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenny.  Mickey is survived by two sons, Michael and Eric Morris, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
