Rickie Gene Catron, age 68, of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in Overland Park, Kansas. Rickie was born the son of Carl Gene and Opal Venita Burnett Catron on January 12, 1952 at Kansas City, Kansas.

He married Ann Boyer on December 31, 1976 in Kansas City, Kansas, to this union they had two daughters, Julie and Regina. He was employed by the Shawnee Mission school district for thirty-two years, also the Pleasanton School District for another ten years. Rickie enjoyed being in the garage and working on antique cars, he also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Rickie was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Steve and a sister, Linda. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, two sisters, Brenda James and Debra Stroble, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00pm, Monday, January 20, 2020 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to service time on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the chapel. Burial will follow in the Hume Cemetery.
