Owen Clinton Baugh, age 86, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. He was born on February 6, 1933 in Pleasanton, Kansas the son of Owen Wesley and Mary Ellen Peterson Baugh.
He graduated from Pleasanton High School and attended the University of Kansas for one semester. Clinton was married to Rosalie Brown on April 5, 1953. She preceded him in death on December 19, 2006. He then was able to spend very special time with Olivia Hermon Laudan until she passed on November 27, 2014.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mitchell Baugh. Clinton was a member of the Mound City Christian Church, RWD #2 for twenty-eight years, FSA Community Committee Board, FHA Board, director at First State Bank, and Pleasanton City Planning Board. Clinton is survived by two sons, Owen Kirk Baugh and Kenneth Robert Baugh, a brother Robert Joe Baugh and wife Sheri, three granddaughters, Crystal(Jason), Megan(Cory), and Katie(Adam), and five great grandchildren, Jase, Abby, Alex, Kayd, Addison, and Kowen, and Olivia’s brother, C.H. Hermon.
Funeral service will be 10:30 am Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Mound City Christian Church. Burial will be in the Green Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Friday, December 27 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.
